1st treatment 11/23

Treatment
On Friday, November 19 my husband began taking Bicalutanide and on Tuesday, Nov. 23 he received an implant of Zoladex. This is the first step in treatment. We haven't been told the stage he is but we know it is advance due to the high gleason and PSA numbers.

He has gone from feeling healthy to tired, sore muscles and more depressed. It is very difficult for him to urinate. He doesn't really want to associate with anyone other than family. Friends understand of course but it does make him feel bad that he can't spend the time with them.

Are there answers for us to hope for at this point? Will the bone scan determine the next step? Is there anything he can do, diet, exercise to help him feel somewhat better even with treatment?

Will he be with me next year is the big question.
