Happy National Donate Life Month!

Wellbeing
The month of April is significant for Americans in many different ways: holiday observances such as Easter, Passover; the dark and foreboding federal tax return, April showers, gardening, and beautiful weather. For the US transplant community, this month also holds its own special kind of beauty-- as National Donate Life Month, April is the month in which to recognize and laud those who have donated to help save and enhance the lives of those in need.

Established in 2003, every day of April is used to celebrate the generosity of those who have saved lives by donating organ, tissue, marrow, and blood. A tremendous goal of National Donate Life Month is to raise awareness of the need throughout the country.

Yet another way to support those in need of an organ is to help spread the word about NewOrgan Network! Designed to help build your community of friends and family and to raise awareness of you or a loved one's needs, the network is all about helping you categorically take the practical steps needed to achieve health and wellbeing with the support of all who care for you. Also, don't forget our Tips4Life where you can add your own snippets of wisdom from experience that may help others through health struggles.

The NewOrgan Prize (http://mfoundation.org/) was created as an affective incentive for whole organ construction and transplantation-- all from one's own cells. Help us accelerate this process, and we will see that dream come true before our eyes, sooner than what would have been expected otherwise. Help us get there faster!
