Wellbeing
We had a really good practice today. The ocean was very very choppy, but we had the current with us today. We went through the waves quickly and started the swim. It only took us 14 mins or so to swim so we got out and some of us did it again. I was a bit worried because both my swim buddies, Joc and Patti were not there but I did great. I was able to swim both times with no panic and was not out of breath. I think the Ocean 101 clinic was the ticket to feeling great in the water. The water was cold 58 degrees but we did it no problem. I try to practice in the ocean everything that we work so hard in the pool with our technique.

We did the 18 mile bike and then my group did the run and I walked it. Boy by the time I was done I was so hungry. I had 1/2 my shake on the way to practice and then 1/2 when we were done with the swim and by the time I got back from the bike and run I was starving. I had brought a 1/2 of ABJ sandwich. It was yummy and hit the spot. We went with a few people to get coffee after and a couple of the guys got Lilly's burritos. It was not as hard as we thought to be there and not eat them. Ester and I got summer rolls and stir fry on our way home. Yummy.

Going to the beach tomorrow for the 4th. I made veggie soup and will take a salad with me. I know it will be hard with a bunch of chips and stuff around. I hope I can make it through.

Joc and Roger - Hope you both are having a blast and hope you enjoy the 4th. Missed you both at practice today but you were there in spirit.
